WORLDWIDE ENCOUNTERS
One of the biggest projects I've done is traveling worldwide to volunteer. For example, I went to Myanmar with some friends from my art school to teach art and STEM to underprivileged kids. Especially now, because of the tumultuous Burmese Civil war and political instability, more children are left parentless and hopeless. This trip was part of a series of efforts to help with this situation.
Including this trip, I have helped by touring different schools in cities like Yangon by teaching STEM and art. During the process, local students and I shared our cultures, and it intrigued me that we have similar interests, such as liking similar songs and clothes.

JAVA INSTRUCTION
The most ongoing thing that I have done is teach Intermediate Java to middle schoolers and high schoolers through a highly selective program, Silicon Valley Youth. The class is meant to prep for APCS at highschool, and for its AP Exam. Over the course of the 2020 Summer break and Fall Semester, I spent more than 60 hours teaching and preparing students over a span of 20 classes. I am currently teaching another Spring Semester of new students.
All profits gained from these courses are being contributed to huge donation pools, such as over $100,000 raised since 2015.

After my contributions to Silicon Valley Youth, I am now taking an Officer Position of Vice President of CS.

SASCC
Since almost the beginning of 2020, I have been exploring Digital Art. From there, I decided to make comics for the local newspaper, The Outlook. The newspaper is part of a non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 1979 to serve the needs of local seniors. To take it one step further, I started a Senior Center Arts-and-Crafts series of classes starting in January of 2021.

ART CLASSES FOR SENIORS

From the opportunity I had making comics for the newspaper, The Outlook, I was able to start Art classes as a partnership through them. Along with the current series of classes, I plan to open several chapters with more local Senior Centers to bring the community together.
